Via Rail off the tracks
Via rail engineers walked off the job yesterday afternoon after failing to work out an agreement before the strike date.
The strike will cripple most of the passenger services right across Canada.
The Via Rail Service had to bus passengers to there destinations yesterday and all further ticket sales are suspended.
The Government have not shown interest in intervening in this matter although they are watching it closely.
Alternative transportation companies are taking advantage of this situation by increasing there services until the strike is over.
